Sweeter Banana are a co-operative of 21 growers growing on family run farms in Carnarvon. The bananas are grown without the use of pesticides, insecticides or fungicides.
The climate in Carnarvon is sub-tropical so these bananas take around twice as long to grow as a tropical banana, this results in a much creamier and sweeter taste and a rich banana flavour.
Kept in room temperature these bananas will ripen in 3 to 4 days. To speed ripening process up best to place next to a fruit like apples as the ethylene from the apples helps them to ripen naturally & quicker.
The bananas are in their packed in the Sweeter Banana original lunchbox bag. The bag serves a dual purpose - to brand and identify so you know you are getting the right original lunchbox banana and to protect our bananas sensitive skins from marking.
