‘Shelled’ walnuts are also widely known as walnut kernels. Walnuts grown in WA can be transported without chemical treatment. Omega walnuts are grown here in WA, compared to Imported inshell walnuts that are treated with methyl bromide (a product banned from general application).
Comes in 250g (foil-lined, resealable) pouches. Shelled walnuts will remain fresh for up to 18 months. They can also last for up to several years when frozen.
Once opened, simply store your shelled walnut halves and pieces in an airtight container in a cool, dry environment.
For optimal longevity we recommend storing them in the fridge.
